Futurism and the Evils Postponement What the Messiah described was not a world on high alert for truth, but a world lulled into absolute normalcy. People were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, not because everyday life itself was evil, but because they were completely absorbed in surface living while blind to its spiritual foundation. Just like the days of Noah, they saw no reason to believe judgment or divine intervention was real. The historic Age of Reason completed this spiritual blindness by training humanity to trust a constantly moving, secular explanation over a fixed, eternal word. When truth is treated as something always evolving, nothing is ever fully settled, nothing is ever urgent, and Scripture is successfully reduced to mere allegory, symbolism, or moral guidance rather than literal and authoritative truth. Jesuit futurism plays a central role in sustaining this darkness. The Protestant Reformation had reintroduced the papal system as the literal Antichrist power described in Scripture. To survive this exposure, Rome needed a sophisticated way to remove itself from blame and deflect historical scrutiny. To achieve this, Jesuit priest Francisco Ribera authored a massive commentary on the Book of Revelation in the late 1500s that shifted prophecy almost entirely into the distant future. Instead of allowing Scripture to expose Rome’s power operating dynamically in the present, Ribera introduced the novel idea that the Antichrist would be a single, one time man who would appear only at the very end of history. This calculated doctrine effectively redirected public attention away from the papal system and its global abuses already unfolding through the centuries. By teaching people to look exclusively for a single future tyrant, spiritual responsibility was completely removed from the present era. If the beast system is always tomorrow, then today must be safe. Over time, this deceptive seed grew into a massive theological industry, and today the vast majority of modern churches teach Ribera’s futurism as absolute truth. The devastating result is a global population trained to wait passively rather than discern actively. Believers expect a dramatic, theatrical future collapse while simultaneously living comfortably and productively inside the very systems Scripture warned against. This is precisely why the Messiah stated that He would come as a thief in the night. A thief does not arrive at an alert, guarded house, but at one that is sound asleep. Futurism actively encourages this deep sleep by pushing spiritual awareness forward into a hypothetical timeline instead of inward and around at current events. This exact same psychological mechanism appears across modern pop culture through science fiction, video games, and the highly publicized space race. Constant media promises of Mars colonies, imminent alien contact, and endless cosmic expansion in galaxy wide video games directly mirror the Jesuit deception. Human imagination, hope, and existential fear are projected into distant futures and far off imaginary worlds, while the present reality of global control, spiritual authority, and the Creator’s enclosed order is entirely ignored. From old cartoons like The Jetsons to immersive modern outer space simulators, entire generations are trained to look anywhere except exactly where their feet stand. Futurism therefore is not true hope. It is postponement, psychological programming, and institutional relaxation. It deliberately obscures the past so that the present is never critically examined. It convinces people that ultimate evil is coming later, that technological progress is coming later, and that truth will only be revealed later. Meanwhile, the modern world continues eating and drinking in deep darkness, confident that everything is perfectly fine, which is precisely the condition the Messiah warned would exist when He returned.
