When a society already naturally leans toward falsehood, self-preservation and self-will, deception does not need to force or coerce anything. Early institutional conditioning ensures that from elementary school onward, human beings are trained in groupthink. Children are taught to align their identities with school mascots, regional rivalries and tribal loyalties. This early training seamlessly integrates mass entertainment and sports into the fabric of daily life, creating a world where people will passionately debate superficial games for hours while absolute truth is strictly forbidden from the conversation. John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. It is not merely that people are cleverly tricked against their will, it is that they actively choose what directly aligns with their personal actions, their pride and the world. When divine light inevitably exposes this internal darkness, the common human response is to immediately question the Creator's standard itself. People ask how something can be wrong if it is what their family, their culture or their heritage has always practiced. This is the exact moment where human tradition, family bonds and cultural identity are weaponized as a spiritual shield. Instead of allowing absolute truth to examine and correct their actions, people use long held customs to justify ongoing rebellion. Over time, what was once recognized as a clear transgression becomes completely normalized, accepted and defended simply because it is familiar. Truth is never measured by how long a society has practiced an error, nor is it measured by how many millions of people participate in it. Truth is measured solely by the Creator's word. Ultimately, the avoidance of light is about protecting what a person is not ready to let go of. When the Creator exposes a lifestyle, a tradition or a habit, the decision required by the individual is not an intellectual agreement, it is an act of painful or willing surrender. The Kingdom of God does not operate on compromise. What belongs to this passing world must be left behind, even when deeply familiar, even when it is tied to family tradition and even when it feels like a fundamental part of one's identity.
